My name is Jason, and both of my parents were born and raised in Egypt, where poverty wasn’t just common—it was part of daily life. Growing up, I heard countless stories of families struggling to meet basic needs and communities relying on each other and the church to survive.
For years, I’ve personally sent money to help people in Egypt facing urgent and overwhelming challenges—many of whom live on less than $100/month. I’ve seen how a $500 surgery—half a year’s income for some—can mean the difference between life and death.
This foundation is a continuation of that mission. I created Aid for Egypt Foundation to bring more people together around a legitimate, transparent cause: providing direct aid to those far below the poverty line in Egypt.
